Both democracies were installed by U.S. forces after a period of military occupation and reconstruction. If you honestly think you can refute this, please do yourself a favor and go look it up in the history book of your choice, or perhaps ask a history teacher.
Maybe stating that the current governmental structures in the former Axis countries were formed post war after allied victory and occupation would be more accurate.
