Don't follow me bro, just know that it's possible and if you still can't figure it out, figure out a single long only setup and trade that one setup only.
Thanks, and no worries. Just saw that a while back you were interested in starting a discord so I figured if you were still in the mood to chat with other traders, I wanted to show interest since we are doing things similarly (I'm guessing based on your chart). But you're probably doing your own thing now and I understand. Catch you in the next thread!
Mathematically, does this guys post make any sense. You really think there was some free money trading AMZN options that disappeared after the split ? You'd have to prove it .
D. E. Shaw was scarcely known outside of the financial community, and its polymath creator sought to keep it that way. The company chose to operate under the radar, using private funds from affluent investors like billionaire financier Donald Sussman and the Tisch family and keeping its proprietary trading algorithms out of the hands of competitors.
@Con1991 , I'm suffering a similar fate due to the split - I used to trade calenders on AMZN most weeks and that door is shut. Before anyone says "Just trade more lots", its a little more complicated than that (more slippage, higher comms, etc).
lol, all these masters of the universe claiming to be big swinging dix in amzn options, not a peep on how this split makes their 'free money' trade fail . I dont expect any explain.
It is explained in my original post. Put simply, AMZN had more volatility pre-split. Noboby said anything about 'free money', margin in spreads in equal to the width of the strikes. Not sure what your problem is exactly, you come across as arrogant.
