Yea people dont care about earthquakes, they care more about getting their new tablets and smartphones, oh and organic bananas, chicken and tomatoes.

 

Why the markets sold off was too funny, sell sell sell earthquake, sell earthquake, this market acts like its 3 fucking years old hahaha!

If it is a tectonic weapon, the world would change overnight. Good thing it is just science fiction.

 

A 5.9 is not that big a deal is it?

 

You have to go back 200 years to see a quake of this magnitude in this area. Read the first page of this thread. Some fore-shocks signal much bigger quakes.

I LIVE RIGHT NEAR THE EPICENTER. IT SCARED THE STUFFING OUT OF ME. I DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING. WE DONT GET EARTHQUAKES HERE.

 

The Northeast USA had a magnitude 5.8 quake on Sept 5, 1944 in Massena, NY. That is in the Saint Lawrence rift system.
