I don't think there really is such a thing as a patriotic rally. I think that is a CNBC-ism, something for the financial news people to talk about instead of having dead air. In general the news explanations for market movement are pulled out of thin air IMHO.

 

Some guy is going to announce the time tonight at 8pm.
I think he plays a role in the film too!

For money makers, I belief the up day is a result of lessening of uncertainties.

the place is definitely seriously screwed up but there could be a realization of profound potentails once these guys get off the stage.
