Gold isn't what mainstream thinks about as far as investments goes so what do they think about? Currently there isn't a lot of buzz as they either won't invest because of difficulties paying the bills, paying off the loans, and in making ends meet, can't invest because of unemployment, or don't invest because there is no mass hype in the market. Except for one thing, there is one thing that people are willing to go back to financial behaviour of the last bubble with the financial mindset of the last bubble - education which is past its prime when foreign students don't envy American students like they used to.
