Alternative to DTNIQ?

  1. eSignal is an overpriced, unreliable piece of garbage. Check multiple threads in recent months started by dissatisfied customers.

Don't bother trying to call them to ask them about problems with the feed. Once they've billed your credit card, you'll never get anyone on the phone (and you'll be on hold on your dime; no 1-800 number for support!!).

Just as a follow up for anyone who might come across this post, I have been using Quotetracker, which is free, with some small ads, which you won't likely notice. Just $7.00 a month to remove the ads. It's a very good basic charting program, and glitch free, which must use data from another provider. They have a relationship with certain brokerage firms, so if you trade with one of these firms you can use their trade data to create your quotes, avoiding paying monthly feed and exchange fees. It works fine if you trust your broker's feed. I use MB Trading, use their data, and it is reliable enough about 99% of the time. Of course, you can also use it with a data provider, such as IQFeed, and still save some bucks.

What do you get for $59 -- the low end price?

There are many different available platforms that connect to the OpenTick service. NinjaTrader is one that is available for free thus (excluding exchange fees) you have a completely free solution.
