(following up on http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=43063 ) I'm looking for US & world economic number forecast and release data, live and historical (10-15 years with good timestamps)... basically equivalent to what is available from Bloomberg ECO / WECO functions. Unfortunately Bloomberg professional is priced too high for my current needs. Suggestions?
http://www.forexfactory.com/ in the upper right hand corner click on "filter" and choose the country/currency you want to see econ data for as well as the time (in your time zone!). you can also see a data calendar for tomorrow and the upcoming week. and best of all it's free.
