Alternative Indicator to ADX,+DMI,-DMI

  1. You might want to check out Jurik Research's DMI equivalent called DMX. Much smoother (so fewer false signals) very little lag. The attachment is a .gif image from their web site. The entire link with text is here... http://www.jurikres.com/catalog/ms_dmx.htm#top

    Good luck

I just keep it set to 13,5. Changing the settings does make much less difference with this indicator than with others.

  3. Hi Ditch,

As I know Blau's ECO is based on double exponential filtering and two timeconstants are involved. Do you keep both set at 13.5? I have been experimenting with ranges 25/13 down to 11/4.

For the signal line I used 5.

    Be good,

    I don't mean it's bad...

    or good...

Michael, you are right, the alternatives within the system are many. Find please in the attachment one of them calculated for ES (ADX,+DMI,-DMI system).
