this trading industry has to dupe which person is going to buy when Goldman Sachs is selling.....so he has to be fooled into thinking that it is going up....he has to be convinced..there is no rape in trading. this is one thing no one understands.Someone has to take the other side of every transaction.
and I can't disagree with this. Most people on this entire site are BSing throughout their life. Mate, leave it at that, see that there will always be people who will disagree with you, leave this industry and move to better pastures. You will not regret this advice.
I wouldn't call it unpleasant... certainly appreciate the opportunities it provided for financial freedom... and I am not sure if I could start over I'd do it again or not... there are certainly other ways to make money, but I'd never know if those would be more 'pleasant' or not.
true that is true in every single competitive activity in this world. the edge is understanding....without understanding you cannot survive a business or even a marriage or any relationship. without understanding you cannot manage and without management you are doomed
and actually, when I first saw the thread title I thought it meant something else lo. my style of trading actually assumes 'everybody is lying', in the media and financial services world... it only makes sense because the purpose of language is not communicating, but lying lol. but I have posted details of how I trade - unfolding the stories (aka lies) is a big part of it...
it took me two years to reach profitability... also I lost my edge and moved on to new approach mid career - took me two years to get back to profitability
