Thanks for sharing some insights here, @schweiz. Much appreciated. From your experience building successful systems, do they trade on a daily basis or are there days where no trades are made?
Wow, That's really impressive. If i may ask, what kind of stats do you have on the trend following part of the system - Max DD and %profitability? I read in you earlier posts that you use a combination of trend-following and recovery mode. I'm assuming the 75% profitability is on the combined system. Is that correct? Because it is hard to imagine trend-following alone being able to generate that kind of profitability with very low DDs.
You and @destriero are the real deals. I follow both your posts. If you block him, it will be your loss. Just learn to ignore some posts.
Anyone who questions Dest - he blocks. He also appears threatened by other profitable traders who don't suck up to him, his ego needs continual stroking. Better to block him first and keep him blocked. He has me blocked, if he removes it, I'll block him.
This is a typical example of how Destriero manipulates things. He wants to do a poll so that people would confirm how "good" he is, the supertrader that nobody can match. So he organizes HIMSELF (speaking of arrogance) that poll and all people that potentially will vote that he is an arsehole are blocked. So only his supporters can vote. Nevertheless from the 15 votes (1 vote he made himself) 4 (which represents 27% of all votes) still confirm he is an arsehole. This way of polls remind me of Putin, Kim Jong Un and Erdogan. They also win every poll. And if they don't win, like Erdogan in Istanbul at this moment, he cancels the voting as being manipulated.
i agree with you i too have come to the same conclusion i hated him but now....it is wierd but not everyone is the same. now he has helped me a bit too
i am now putting stop and target if anyone is interested you can visit my journal [rewind back 15 years] and give your comments. i am, now, not wondering how the market works i am just trading for the money.
if you trade for the money i think it's harder to trade. but i am no expert on that subject because i never got into trading for the money. i like the money but i trade because i love the intellectual challenge of it. when you focus on being the best at what you do the money will come automatically. this is true in anything that people have passion for.
