Say your buying power is 200k and you are trading a $10 stock. You are allowed a total of 20,000 shares - but you only feel comfortable trading in blocks of 2,000 shares.

Can you take 10 different round trips and then average them all together for one 20 block? i.e. buy and sell 2k shares 10 times and then book it all as one trade?

Where I trade there are ticket charges so there is logic to doing this. I am not sure if paying cent per share with no ticket it would make any difference?

Also, If I trade 50k - 100k shares a day, are there firms that would give me no ticket and 1/2 cent per share?
