  1. Futures already primed for a gap up. Its only 10:30 and the es is up 350, must have been good news after the close today.

  4. That gap is like the tongue of a snapping turtle. The snapping turtle wiggles its tongue...making it look like a worm....fish see this and approach the open mouth...............

  5. The Nikki is now at 15,030.34

    Nikki is Up 158.19 (1.06%)

could spill over into US markets tomorrow.
Dec 1st is historically a strong day for the markets.

  6. not really ---- the nikkei does not affect or day session markets very much, but the EU markets do --- watch tonight at 03:00 eastern time for the EU open and see what happens --- that has a more profound affect on the U.S. futures.

oh, and the nikkei was running up during our sell-off in October so no strong linkage between the two right now.

  7. That drop in the dow from yesterday has been erased with this overnight action, really amazing. Who would have thought:confused:

Can't wait for the 8:30 numbers.

  8. yes EU markets had massive short covering pre-rate hike announcement --- and the EU market moves directly affect our futures in the overnight session {it is just that our futures overnight session volumes are extremely low ---- that is why we get so many gap fills of overnight session moves}.
