This entry will include the final 5 days results for October. I am not going to give trade breakdowns just the entries and exits with time in and out. I just want to finish what I started as this thread deteriorated to a point that continuation was no longer worth the time or effort that I put into it. It was profitable, but only about an 11% return based on an account that trades 5k per contract. I am sure many of you did better in October and many did worse. This is a little low for my system but it was a difficult month to read for me as remained seemingly short biased despite the obvious strength we had. Hope you enjoyed this journal. AllenZ
Thanks Allen, I appreciate your willingness to post your trades. Don't let the negatives drag you down One question that I have is about slippage: what have people in your room reported so far? Are these entries/exits typical or are there many people who do much better/worse?
Slippage occurs, but on both sides. My trade exits are generally target based so once that target hits I am gone and the trade is officially closed. Many member wait for thier own reasons for exit and thus may get more or less on a trade than the actual call returned. For the most part, if you have the order in at the target price there is no reason to sway much from the posted results. But everyone uses a room for different reasons. AllenZ
Congratulations on a marginal month From a room member to people wondering - Allen posts his entries and target well in advance. If you want the room trades there's no reason not to get them with limit and stop orders.
