Can anyone tell me where I can find a daily list of stocks breaking out to all time highs?
You can generate a list in TC2000 or TCnet pretty easily using EZ Scans and Personal Criteria Formulas.....
Thanks for the reply. I should have added free list.
Any sftw should do that. This is a good site to play around in.
TC2000 has several limitations in doing this. There was lot of discussion about this on the yahoo TC2000 users group a month or so back after Ed Seykota workshop where he talked about all time high strategy.
wow, SocalTrader hasn't posted yet!
and click on the respective indicies
Yes I know that I can scan through the list of 52week highs and find the ones I want but I was hoping that I could find a simple list of stocks making all time highs as they break out above the previous high. I appreciate all the replies. Thanks again.
Bigcharts.com has a nice 52 week high/low list... as well as daily gainers/losers , voume etc.... Also has a nice schort interest list
I haven't tried it, but it looks like you can do it here:
You could also look for new 5 year highs at MSN with their screener:
At least there wouldn't be as many new 5 year highs as 52 week highs. Try running it intraday. Otherwise you might want to look for stocks where the 52 week high is >= 5 year high to get a broader list of candidates to choose from with MSN.
