all time favorite musical performance

  2. No actually you are right( akel was only 13 in '75) ...i meant to post 1985 -the year the band formed and they were at their best. Attitude & all :)

  6. they (metallica) are unreal ! the power coming off the stage is mind boggling. i even get chills watching the DVD of them playing with the san fran orchestra-- symphonic metallica. the BEST heavy metal act ever, imho. are you into any of the new bands ?? i like "system of a down" among others---their singer is outrageous. i was seriously into the so-called "cross over" bands when i was a young man. bands like DRI, etc. punk bands who learned to play and leaned toward metal. speed metal.

  10. Rolling Stones w/ George Thorogood in 1981! Have seen the Stones every tour since. They'll be in LA next week -- I'll be there at Staples Center!

    Saw 3rd Eye Blind play at a small private party (Paramour Mansion in Hollywood) -- pretty cool.

    How 'bout this one -- saw Joan Jett play at a redneck bar @ Penn State in about '82. She was f*cked up (so were we). No one had ever heard of her, but she was one wild ass chick!
