By having specific entry criteria, exit criteria and risk management criteria the choices that are available to you can be focused. As with all plans, one must have the WILL POWER over DESIRE to adhere to the plan and realize that there are losing streaks and winning streaks. my opinion is that ultimately all things fail. how much success may be found in exploiting opportunities to benefit from the failure of that which appears a high probability? imo the ability to short is an important skill to have as a market operator. many fund managers in my experience lack this skill.
