    Hey,

    For a Prop trader, is there a way to instantaneously put out an order to all electronic market participants ? Some kind of special connectivity/technology ?

    If you are talking about "spraying" for example every BID in say MSFT for 500 shares, it used to be called "Tools".
    Every market maker has this ability. It may be on The Hammer
    in one form or another. Other platforms will allow to SOES or SELECT various MM's at once.

    The ARCA "NOW" feature is ECN only...
    Make it IOC and it is quick fill or out...

    Using IB :

    They have these orders, not sure if this is what you mean because price gets only send to markets that have the best price.

    Sweep-to-Fill- Used when speed of execution is of the essence. Order is simultaneously submitted to multiple destinations at best prices. Available for stocks routed through Smart order routing.
