  1. Market's climb a wall of worry.

    This isn't a wall of worry. This is a slow train wreck that will only be made worse by QE and other "solutions." But many had the same bullish sentiment in early October of 2007 ("sub-prime is nothing, " the worst is over," etc.)

    Chubby stocks to short and make money in two days.

    This is just a discussion. I am not twisting your arm to do the trades.

    Short TXN, ADI, SMH

    TXN should close 28 or below by tomorrow
    ADI will close 31 or below
    SMH will close 28 or below

  4. correlation != causation

    sure, we'll get a sell-off with more volume than the run up, but we'll return to go higher.

    Terrible predictions; in particular TXN is a very strong stock right now
    and there exists a technical indicator putting a target of $31-$32 on the stock. You've been suggesting a short on this since $26.

    Technology is playing catch up right now its the LEAST likely segment to correct in the market. Strong earnings from INTEL and GOOGLE will only support this strong trend.

    So while you're shorting these strong stocks the US financials ( the true weakies ) are dropping quite a lot.

    I have posted on his/her original short call a few weeks ago on TXN.
    The recent post suggesting they are involved in put options ( must be short term the longer term ones are very expensive for technology )
    means they must be bleeding money right now which might explain the repeated short calls ( smells like desperation to me ).

  10. Grown-ups learn from their losses and mistakes. Children disappear from threads after making bad calls.
