If you tell christians the truth, it goes in one ear and straight out the other. If you tell christians some weird conspiracy story or exaggeration, something outlandish, it'll stick with them.
I don’t understand anything anymore, many of the evangelicals during my childhood hated cults, cult leaders, sex scandal con artists, thieves and they now openly embraced. Having been told at rallies a con artist is from Jesus, a Supreme Court justice cult member. Jesus said the majority of people claiming to follow him were apostates, in the End it appears more who were kind, had no idea it was their good hearts and kindness that saved them(Could they be the godless?). https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2022/jun/06/people-of-praise-accused-child-abuse-amy-coney-barrett
Not at all. It means understanding that the universe was created by a loving Holy God who then created man who sinned and thus passed this down propensity to sin to all the world's future population. God, being holy, requires that a penalty be paid for sin so He paid it himself by coming to earth as a man named Jesus who then the suffered a crucifixion death as a substitute for us. When an unbeliever converts it is a simple confession that he is guilty and believes and accepts Jesus into his life for the forgiveness of his sin. That is reality my friend not fantasy. Fantasy is believing that this universe created itself out of nothing all by itself.
I fully agree that a lot of religion is all about this. But a true disciple of Jesus is not. Get your mind off the money power sensational TV preachers and onto the the savior Jesus. It is the individual saving relationship with Him that will give you eternal life.
You will be without excuse. "God's divine nature and eternal power has been clearly seen, being understood by what has been made."
I don't believe that. Life is a mystery, it is something we possibly will never understand. How life creates life, or how atoms create atoms, I don't have an answer. How the universe expands, pass, don't know. How I view things, all matter, all atoms, the whole universe is a living breathing (as it were) thing, that to me is God, but I'm not sure even God is a correct term. This creation or God, or Universe, or all matter is alive to me and within it are laws, physical or scientific laws like gravity, light, mass, force etc. Theses forces govern the universe. Praying and praising 'God' to me is futile, it doesn't need our whining, our snivelling, our pathetic ulterior motive prayers, our fucking useless getting down on knees and witchcraft laying on of hands and all the rest of godamn stupid primitive religion which came from cave and desert dwellers in Mesopotamia.
