Good Morning wxytrader, Exactlyyyyyyyyyyy, so can I. The Quant Traders are NOT mentioning how much money and time they have to risk as well. Nobody have $500,000 like that. And nobody can program and back test trading ideas all day.
Most good traders/investors take a quantitative approach. It's common sense... If you are trading a sub 25k account , your options are limited.. Point and click is a visble approach..You appear to manage risk.. Wxy approach is clearly investing.,i.e Buy and Hold/ Average down
If you dont know any qaunt traders, perhaps you and Wx should refrain from commenting about topics you are clueless to??? Between the 2 of you I doubt you have 100k,and neither of you have believe in backtesting. So be the best point and clicker you can,and Wx should continue his mastery of going long and wrong and doubling down... Stay in your lane Bro
Hello taowave, I have no idea what good trader means. I have no idea what quantitative approach means. I have no idea what common sense means. I have no idea what risk means. Why on EARTH would I need a 25k account to trade the ES futures market for, this makes no sense. $2000 is good enough.
Good Evening taowave, Well, like I said I don't belive quant trading and doubt anyone independent quant trader making more then me other than @globalarbtrader . I made about $3200 all together today. Just clicking man. Just let me know and I show you my account, so you see im not lying. I'm trying to get to $10,000 a day clicking so I can be a millionaire by this time next year. If I stop to do quant stuff, take too long man. Too much work and I hate working hard without instant reward. Soon I will be the Master of the ES and NQ market.
Right mister. When the market moves decisively/trendily/smoothly, it is very easy to earn $$$. When the market moves choppily/erratically/chaotically, or don't move for donkey years, it is very difficult to earn $$$.
SML, At this point, you're just sounding dumb and like a broken record. It was funny last year. Was not your goal to trade 100 ES contracts? Obviously, you can't do that with a $2K account. Until you have taken that $2K up to $50 or $100K by clicking and guessing, you really should humble yourself and stop all this nonsense.
