Because they inject their personal politics into their rulings? Going full pretzel with the Constitution? Defying precedent after precedent? Yeah, they’re “OK” that way.
@Frederick Foresight... you are certainly entitled to your opinion; although a concise, well thought out, clarification of your reasons would be nice.
How could Trump do that? The legislature can always impeach a president. So it would be silly to make him out as the root of all evil. You're playing a bit fast and loose w/ the analogies for my taste, we'll have to agree to disagree on this. Which, it appears, proves my point. Or, perhaps, disproves yours by contradiction... because now you don't want to redecorate at all, whereas before... you were quite happy w/ AOC's machinations(1). Not to mention, redecoration and rebuilding are different things. For better or worse, the analogies can only go so far.
It's better than going backward, but not as good as moving forward. The conservative justices and judges in the lower courts seem bent on marching the country into the Third World. Full steam ahead backwards.
