No analogy's perfect and I agree that the side you addressed doesn't hold up but the side I stated which you didn't quote is valid IMO. Which was, that hatred and psychopathy are the main underlying motives, and any financial exploitation that coincides is secondary at most. Remember Hitler's Aryan race concept? But did Hitler use whatever he could to incite hatred of Jews? Absolutely. Was he happy to confiscate whatever wealth he could from them since he was exterminating then anyway? Of course.
