  1. My favorite show of this (action/spy) genre is a relatively unknown British show that airs on A&E called MI-5. This show is very well done and is definitely worth a look.

    Well,

I did not get that impression at all. In fact, they threw in Glashow tidbits in. Glashow, as you may be aware, is the biggest critic of SuperStrings (SS.)

Others made several references to SS being Philosophy and not Physics if SS makes no testable predicitions.

Got my TIVO ready for tonight.

  8. I must say that she looked much better in the Maxim layout than she does in the third season of "24".

Her nose is starting to look like Karl Malden's...

My good man goldenarm, could you please explain to me how after looking at those pics her "nose" jumps out at you ??? She could be lacking a nose altogether and she'd still be smoking in my book.

    Just kidding,

Just to throw in my opinion on this show: Wow was it watered down. In fact it was soo watered down as to be nearly useless as a reasonable explanation of string theory and its place in the evolution of quantum gravity theories. I thought the show looked more like a commercial for string theory - and the hosts new book - than a science show. Never was the word "topology" even mentioned - the demo of the old doughnut-coffee cup transform was never even connected with the underlying mathematics in any way. Nova has really strayed from being a science show to being more of a pop-culture show. Its a shame.
