Are you ignorant of the fact that it's possible to purchase a fraction of a bitcoin? If Pekelo purchased $60K at $2, it would be worth over half a billion $ But go ahead and continue with your line of argument to show everyone your dishonesty
Who cares if it was a fraction or a whole number? How is that relevant to anything. You're an odd one. Take care.
The relevancy is the in the base unit comparison measurement which is the $ amount investment. Take care also
d08 is correct, you seem to have a one-sided view. If you bought $2 worth of bitcoin when it was at $60K, it would be worth ~$0.80 now. Fractional purchases do not change the maths.
No, you fell for the smoke and mirrors narrative, Overnight $2 was the btc price when Pekelo was bearish. I was bullish from my first post on ET when btc price was $1,300 $60K was a price that was being anchored to my bullishness I'm trying to standardize the comparison by having an equal $ investment at $60K and at $2 But let's not continue it as it's beaten to death. Take care
K, I looked back in the thread, and it seems you are just arguing the one-sided view about always being bullish on BTC. I was not around here seeing you guys argue about BTC when it was at $2 or $1300. Seems d08's point was just that buying BTC at the peak of 60K would have been quite bad. Which is obviously true in hindsight. The same argument can be made for Facebook and BABA's IPOs in 2012 which I could not participate in at the time. Man, that would also have been a great payoff. Ahh well. Every new day brings new opportunities. THAT is something to look forward to.
I am not seeing the poster, who is that moron? And why is he arguing general BS when it is an Alameda thread?
