Alabama passes tough illegal-immigration law

  1. I did commercial roofing when I was a kid still in college in Montgomery Alabama where I grew up. It was summer work between semesters.

    Man, it was about the hardest job I have ever done. I push that damn gravel buggy all day long in 98 degree July heat. I was the only white guy except for the foreman who moonlighted as a Wrestler lol.

    One day, I swear it was a good 125 degrees on that roof and this black guy who was the mop man paused for a sec, propped his arm on his mop, pulled out bottle of Volka and took a big ole swig lol.

    Hardest Job I ever did was working on a Ironworking crew building a Factory. That crew was all white. About 30 of us. It was 10 hours a day 6 days a week. $5.50 an hour. It was unbelievable how much I was making.
