Al-Qaida warns Muslims: Time to get out of U.S.

  1. The sooner Americans realize there is no morality in war, the sooner we fight to win. There is no high ground! There is no nice way to kill the enemy! There are no hero's and there are no cowards! There are those that survive and those that don't. Which do you want to be? Live or Die? There is no door #3. Live or die? Deal with it! We must make our choice. Radical Islam has damn sure made theirs.

Adhering to the Geneva Convention will neither encourage nor prevent this type of behavior. If you don't want to see American servicemen killed by bullet, IED, or carving knife, petition your congressman to bring them home. They are operating in a land of primitive barbarians and what happens in Gauntanamo or secret prisons has no impact on the behavior of the Sunni insurgency.

The question is whether circumventing the Geneva Convention is of utility to the country in fighting Islamic Terrorists, which is a wholely different matter from the Sunni Insurgency. Don't conflate the two. Given the administration's past record, thier assurances of anything should be considered dubious.

Yea, and 17 hijackers never flew planes into the WTC and Pentagon. That would be absurd!!

  5. You should go to the Chit Chat forum and take the IQ test. Although I know you will lie about your score either way, I bet anything you score around a 70.

  6. I think you're being generous, doc. He barely has enough IQ points to fuel autonomic breathing.

  7. The current U.S. leadership has made the continuous mistake of trying to "moralize" the war, as being a battle between good and evil. The natural result is to view us, the Christians, as good, and them, the Muslims, as evil.

This sort of demonizing of an enemy does not ring throughout the populous in the same way as it did in past conflicts. A good size minority of the population is morally relativistic, and they don't see our enemy as necessarily evil.

The Bush administration would get a lot more mileage by simply telling the public what you are saying: There is a large group of people who claim that their Islamic religious teachings demand that the world either submit to Islam or suffer at its hand. These people are not necessarily good nor evil -- they are simply the "enemy," because they wish to destroy the USA and it's People -- either by converting or killing us.

They have declared war on us, both by word and deed, and we should respond in the the time honored method -- declare war on them, demand their unconditional surrender, and if they refuse -- destroy them completely.

You're quite an amazing specimen. The liberal mind at its finest.
