Ratboy your arguing with SA is foolish. He is demagogue(ideologue). When people like that settle down in their mental ways(so to speak) they never change. No rational though can reach them.
Al Gore should be prosecuted for fear-mongering. Current problems with food are in big part results of Gore-like socialist activism.
In Pinochet's Chile Al Gore and other scumbags like him would be dead or sitting in jail.

Frankly, I believe Gore, Moore, Carter, and some others are taking advantage of the anti-American feelings that some nations and groups like Hollywood harbor currently, and reap lots of personal benefits (Nobel Prizes, money from speaking engagements, movies and books, and the like) selling the position that "America is bad, you were right all along." This of course is hypocritical, unpatriotic and plain wrong. Oh well. :(

SouthAmerica: Talking about real criminals of war - I posted the following information on the Charlie Rose Show forum on June 12, 2004.

    *******

I am glad to see an article in The New York Times regarding the International Criminal Court in The Hague, and the possibility that US officials could be tried for war crimes. You can read the article by Jonathan D. Tepperman “An American in The Hague?”
(Published on Thursday, June 10, 2004 by the New York Times)

    http://www.commondreams.org/views04/0610-13.htm

When I wrote an article published on Brazzil magazine in October 2002 - “Shock Treatment,” I was thinking on the possibility that some members of the Bush administration, including George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, John Ashcroft, Condoleezza Rice, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, and many others could be tried for war crimes at The Hague in the future. I will not be surprised if that possibility becomes reality, after this bunch left office, and they become civilians once again.

Quoting from my article published on Brazzil magazine in October 2002:

    “Shock Treatment”
    By: Ricardo C. Amaral
    Brazzil magazine
    Published: October 2002

…1) It seems to me that there is nothing new about Iraq's mass destruction weapons. If there were any sign of danger, then Israel would have taken care of the problem as they did in the past. The information that Saddam Hussein is a ruthless dictator is nothing new, and certainly not a good reason to start a war in Iraq.

According to an article on the front page of The New York Times of August 18, 2002; "the Reagan administration provided Iraq with critical battle planning assistance at a time when American intelligence agencies knew that Iraqi commandos would employ chemical weapons in waging the decisive battles of the Iran-Iraq war, according to senior military officers with direct knowledge of the program."

A war in Iraq will be devastating to most economies around the world. I would be worried about Saddam Hussein if he was a religious fanatic, but he is not. Saddam is just a greedy and ruthless dictator; no different from many dictators that the US did business with and kept in power in the past…

    2) Related to the new World Court, Brazil should not give an exemption for Americans from the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.

If the leaders of the US government act according to international law, then there is no reason for them to fear the new World Court. I know that many people thought that they could get away with murder and that they were above the law. Today many of these people are in trouble because of their past wrongdoings; included on that list are the following people to mention just a few:

    1) The Serbian dictator Slobodan Milosevic is being tried by the War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague in the Netherlands.

    2) General Augusto Pinochet has been having all kinds of legal problems related to his 17-year dictatorship of Chile. Even Mr. Henry Kissinger is afraid to leave US soil today, and recently he canceled a trip to Brazil, because he was named in legal actions over the Chilean coup that brought Mr. Pinochet into power.

    3) The leaders of the repressive Argentinean military dictatorship that ruled Argentina from 1976 to 1983 also have all kinds of legal trouble today related to their actions during that period. They thought that they were above the law, but now they will pay the price for their arrogance.

The lesson to learn from recent past history is that no country or any one can act above the law. You might feel arrogant and untouchable today, and believe that you are superior to everyone and that you will get away with it, but given enough time you will also have your downfall similar to the above examples. Any country or individual that acts according to international law will not need any special exemption from future prosecution from the World Court.

SouthAmerica: I don’t know why should I bother to respond to you since in one of your postings you said you are a conservative right-winger and you are one of these people who believe that Al Gore invented the internet and Saddam Hussein was close to building nuclear weapons, and many other fairy tales.

You are a John McCain supporter and wage war against other countries it is a priority on your agenda – your world depends on finding a new boogieman to keep your delusions going forward.

Your war-monger mentality also worked well for the last two empires that died a slow death buried under the defense expenses and the taxes necessary to keep the illusion going as far as they could – The British Empire and the Soviet Empire – they also thought that they could dominate the world by force.

The United States is using the same formula that these empires used in the past – high expenditures on defense until the entire house of cards collapses – and the United States is doing it with borrowed money from foreign lenders from around the world.

It is easy to see that the US is reaching the end of the road and only a blind person would not be able to recognize that – the US is a country in complete disarray; a country that today is milking every dime that they can milk anywhere at the expense of its future.

The US is fighting a very expensive war on the credit card and at the expense of the future – as the US is spending trillions on wars that the US can’t win the rest of the world is using its resources to build the world of tomorrow.

Following this posting I will post an article published by The New York Times by its columnist Thomas Friedman, because that article serves as a reality check for the US regarding what is happening around the world.

Now regarding Al Gore I have been writing about Al Gore on a regular basis since August 2006, and in my opinion he should be the next US president.

I realized that it is imperative that Al Gore be elected the next president of the United States since the summer of 2005 when we had Hurricane Dennis a Category 4, and Emily, Katrina, Rita and Wilma these were all Category 5 hurricanes

The weather is completely getting out sink and it is creating chaos around the world; droughts everywhere, and so on….

If you read all the material that I posted on Al Gore you would learn that I mentioned a number of reasons why he is the best qualified politician today in the United States to position the United States into the road to prosperity.

He is the best qualified to end the Iraq War since he would be the first US president holding a Nobel Peace Prize under his belt. Besides he is considered a Statesman around the world and people respect Al Gore. His election would help recover some of the United States prestige, and clout that the US enjoyed just a few years ago.

Al Gore understands how the world of tomorrow works, and his company Current TV was among the 50 leading edge technology companies from around the world according to article published on Fast Company magazine about top global leading edge companies.

Every time I see Barack Obama on television there is the word “Change” coming out at you. My question is: Change to what? What kind of change? You can change things to the better or the worse.

The word change means nothing by itself. It is just an empty slogan.

If you want “CHANGE” with capital letters then we are talking about Al Gore, and we know what the word change means when we are talking about him.

Under Al Gore the word change means restructuring the entire US economy “a green revolution” that it is good not only about reinventing the new US economy with all kinds of technological advances, and creating millions of new jobs on the way (US market jobs), but this green revolution it would be good also to our planet.

AL Gore means all kinds of leadership and change on my book. Al Gore is a seasoned politician, he is very smart and he is the right person to be the US president at this important turning point in American history.
