Al Gore - Democratic Party candidate in 2008.

Version77: Al is wasting time. The campaign money is going to the current
contenders. There won't be any left if Al wants to run.

It kind of looks obvious Al is not going to be in the 2008 race.

What if he doesn't win the Nobel Prize? Would he still run?
Is he waiting to see if he wins in order to run?

SouthAmerica: Ask yourself the following question: Why all these candidates need to raise money so early in the coming election cycle for their political campaigns?

To be able to spend the money going around the states that will have the early primaries, and also to use some of the money for television adds to introduce themselves to the American public.

For example: One of the Republican candidates is Mitt Romney – a former Governor of Massachusetts – the mainstream media highlight about this man is the fact that he is a Mormon.

When someone mentions the Mormon religion the first thing that comes to mind it is that many members of that religion practice polygamy.

Last year when the FBI was looking for the leader of some polygamist group in Utah they mentioned that there are over 50,000 Mormon families in the United States that practice polygamy.

HBO has a show “Big Love” about a Mormon polygamist and his family from Utah. Think having three wives is a dream come true? Meet Bill Henrickson (Bill Paxton), a modern-day Utah polygamist who lives in suburban Salt Lake City with his three wives, seven children, and a mounting avalanche of debt and demands.

Because Mitt Romney is a candidate for president on this election cycle we will learn a lot more about the Mormon religion and polygamy.

As you can see all these candidates have to make a case why people should vote for them.

Rudy Giuliani campaign will die after the mainstream media start showing on television Giuliani dressed as a woman in ten different occasions – for some reason he likes to dress like a woman and the media has a copy of all the occasions he was dressed like a woman.

Senator John McCain it seems to me he is getting completely ridiculous regarding Iraq and so on….

The best Republican candidate that the Republican Party has today - he can’t run because he was not born in the United States – He is Arnold Schwarzenegger the Governor of California.

    *****

Don’t worry about the money if Al Gore decides to run – since most Americans know who Al Gore is – including the new generation. The new generation knows who Al Gore is because of “Global Warming”.

It looks obvious to me that Al Gore is already running for president otherwise why he would be keeping such a schedule of giving presentation to thousands of people almost on a daily basis – not only here in the United States, but he also travels around the world.

From this field of Republican and Democratic candidates the only other person that is recognized around the world it is Hillary Clinton, because she is Bill Clinton’s wife.

Al Gore is very well known all over the world and he has a very good reputation since most people connect him with the Clinton administration – a time when the United States reputation, clout, and prestige around the world was at its maximum point.

Today – because of the Bush administration complete incompetence on everything since January of 2001 – the United States reputation ranks lower than Zimbabwe and Somalia.

The answer is yes – Al Gore will run even if he does not win the Nobel Peace Prize.

The Nobel Peace Prize win would be just the icing on the cake.

Remember Al Gore is on the news on a daily basis because of his schedule of presentations on Global Warming. In May he will be all over the US mainstream media talking about his new book.

Right after that we will have a 2 or 3 Katrinas here in the United States during the summer going into late October of 2007 – and with each hurricane Al Gore’s name will be all over the news, because of Global Warming.

Then in October he will receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

I hope Al Gore will announce officially that he is running for president by August or September of 2007. When he announces that he is running the money will come his way immediately since everybody want to give money to the campaign of the person who is going to be the winner in 2008.

IN A NUTSHELL: Al Gore will receive more coverage from the mainstream media during 2007 not only here in the US but around the world - than all the other candidates of both parties combined.

PS: I find interesting how the US mainstream media “can’t grasp” the fact that Al Gore is already running in the presidential race of 2008.

If he wasn’t running for president then Al Gore would not be keeping the kind of schedule that he is keeping of being all over the place without a single break – and everywhere he goes the place is sold out – and he is treated like a superstar.

  2. snip... snip... snip... snip... wow, was this a lot snipping of this
long-winded completely Al Gore loving post...

Let's see if I can match you for a long ass post but with more truth
    in it...:p

1- All of the current candidates need money to run. Al apparently
doesn't want to run, or he'd be running already. Early bird catches the worm.

2- Your take on Mitt Romney is pure prejudice against the Mormon
religion. That's okay, because ALL religions are false. But I would
like to see the evidence that 50,000 families practice polygamy. I
don't believe this for one minute. Makes for a nice lie though... I
can tell from your attack on Mitt Romney that he is the one you are
afraid of the most. Maybe because he looks like a President should?
Maybe because he isn't a loser like Al Gore? If Mitt can be elected
governor of Massachusetts, then he can be elected President also.

3- Rudy G. dresses up like a woman? Show me the evidence! I
think this is bullshit at it's finest...

4- John McCain is "getting" ridiculous regarding Iraq? What in the
    hell does that mean?

5- Do you really think Arnold Z. is the best Republican candidate?
He doesn't even qualify so why bring it up in the first place?

6- Yes, most know Al Gore. But as a loser in 2000 and as a goon type
character with the stiffness of a piece of steel. Even when he tries to
joke or whatever, you can tell it is fake. He's just a stiff guy that
can't help the way he is. You have to feel sorry for him.

7- Like someone said earlier, Al is getting 200k for talking out of his
rear end.. That is the ONLY reason he is going around. He needs the
money to keep his mansion lit up like a christmas tree...:p

8- Hillary is way more known than Al Gore. That makes it 8x as tough
for him to run and win the Democratic nomination. And Hillary is a
woman! Al can't beat a woman for the Democratic nomination! And
he knows it, so he won't waste anyones money trying.

9- Saying the US ranks lower than Zimbabwe and Somalia is kind
of ignorant don't you think? These countries mean nothing in world
    affairs compared to the US.

10- I never see Al on the news daily. What station are you watching?
Fact is, I never see Al on TV at all. Or talked about on the radio.

11- So Al wants to sell a book. That is because that is all he has to
do now since he is OUT of politics.

12- You hoping their will be be 2-3 more Katrina's is well... kind of evil..

13- Al will probably not win the Nobel Prize. He was just an actor
in a movie about it. It is not like he discovered it or how to stop it.

14- Al receiving more coverage than all of the candidates in both
parties combined is a really weird statement. Won't happen!

15- You not "grasping" the fact that Al buddy is not going to run is
pretty scary. The media is not stupid. They know he is gone gone gone...
Why? He is too old to run. He doesn't have the will to run again.
He doesn't have the energy to run. He doesn't have the backing to run.
He is afraid of the Clintons. It is so sad for him isn't it?

16- Al Gore a superstar? To who? College age kids? A lot of them
don't even vote do they? He is the "star" of Global Warming. That's all. Period.

P.S. Good luck with your fantasy of Al Gore, the President. At least
he got to be V.P. for eight years behind Clinton... Now he sells books
and acts in movies. Maybe he will put out a CD with him singing
Frank Sinatra songs. There has to be something else for him to
do to make money. This Global Warming thing can't last forever...:p

  3. BTW, John F. Kennedy was a Catholic. No one thought a Catholic
    could be elected President.

I guess we all know what happened there...

As I mentioned to you Al Gore is already running for president otherwise why someone like him would keep such a grueling schedule of appearances week after week.

Each presentation to sold-out events it is a platform to make a case why he is the best candidate to be the next US president – from all the candidates he is the one with the highest global stature.

When Al Gore is elected president of the United States – that would send a message around the world that “common sense and competence” is back in the Whitehouse and in the US government.

By the way, Bill Clinton was a late entry in the presidential race of 1992, and I don’t need to tell you who was the winner in that race.

You said: “But I would like to see the evidence that 50,000 families practice polygamy.”

Last year when the FBI was hunting for that Mormon man who was on their most wanted list – CNN News did a lot coverage about the Mormon bigamists, and they did flash a number of times on the screen that there are about 50,000 Mormon families in the United States that practice polygamy.

As a matter of fact last year I saw various programs on television regarding the Mormon polygamists in the United States. During the hunt for that famous Mormon polygamist the mainstream media took the occasion to put the spotlight on that sect of the Mormon Church.

For me it does not make any difference that Mitt Romney is a Mormon.

It might be fun to have 3 wives like in HBO show “Big Love”. Every show the main character of the show is popping “Viagra” pills, all the time, since he has to perform almost every night with a different wife.

That show is very entertaining and a great free advertisement for “Viagra”.

Now when I think about the Mormon religion two things comes immediate to mind: 1) Polygamy and, 2) Viagra.

Maybe if Mitt Romney wants to become better known in the United States then he should consider making an advertisement on television for Viagra, as Bob Dole did. (Even though that exposure it did not help him win the election in 1996).

Viagra is already associated with the Republican Party – and former presidential candidate Bob Dole, who helped test the anti-impotence pill Viagra, he did appear in an advertisement sponsored by the makers of the drug and urged people to get help for the problem.

At the time Pfizer said Dole was being paid for the ads but it would not disclose the amount involved.

  5. In fact, ZERO mormons practice polygamy. It was outlawed by the Mormon church about a hundred years ago. Any member of the The Church of the Latter Day Saints (proper name for mormons), who practices polygamy would be excommunicated immediately. These sects such as the one in Colorado City, are NOT Mormon, nor do they even claim to be. They name their churches similar names, but NOT Latter Day Saints. The FBI, like most of America, has absolutely no clue about mormons. I do. I lived deep in Utah for 10 years, and I have read the Book of Mormon, as well as interacted with them on a daily basis. Probably the nicest, most family oriented people I have ever met.

You are correct in that this will be an albatross for Romney, because like you, most of this country is extremely misinformed.

BTW, Al Gore has this hectic schedule because HE GETS PAID for each presentation.

And now you can predict the weather? Impressive considering that no scientist on earth can do so. We had zero hurricanes make landfall in the US last year. Not a single scientist forecasted this. Maybe you speak directly with GOD?

  6. Now when I think about the Mormon religion and Viagra I think
about you. I bet you belong to some Voodoo cult and need Viagra
    to get it up.

Mitt Romney would make a way better, smarter President than
the wuss you like, Al "Stiff guy" Gore. For one thing, Mitt has charisma
and is not so damn ugly like Al "getting fatter all the time" Gore.
Gore has no money. Romney does. It takes money to run. Al is so
poor, that is why he has to do so many speaking engagements!

What Jayford said above in his post is intelligent. And true.

Too bad you can't do the same thing. I realize you are sufffering
because your idol Al Gore is too chicken to run again. But don't
worry, you will get over it in about 10-20 years...:p

    Thanks for the article.

Since last year I have no doubt on my mind that Al Gore will run for president in 2008.

He will be the newly president elected in November 2008. At this point it is just a matter of figuring out which candidate will be the best choice to add to his ticket as the vice president.

In one of my prior postings I listed the best people Al Gore has available to add to his ticket as the VP.

The enclosed article is saying the same thing that I have been saying for a long time. Slowly the mainstream media will catch on that Al Gore will be the next president.

I have said a number of times that the only reason Al Gore is not the front runner as yet it is because he has not entered the presidential race - as soon Al Gore enters the race he will leave everybody else in the dust.

He is the best Democratic Party candidate and someone who is ready to win the presidential election of 2008.

He is as close to a sure bet anyone can have in any political race.

I will be willing to work for the Al Gore presidential campaign here in New Jersey to help get him elected.

“Gore campaign team assembles in secret”
By Tim Shipman in Washington, Sunday Telegraph
    Last Updated: 11:59pm BST 21/04/2007
    Sunday Telegraph - UK

Friends of Al Gore have secretly started assembling a campaign team in preparation for the former American vice-president to make a fresh bid for the White House.

Two members of Mr. Gore's staff from his unsuccessful attempt in 2000 say they have been approached to see if they would be available to work with him again.

Mr Gore, President Bill Clinton's deputy, has said he wants to concentrate on publicising the need to combat climate change, a case made in his film, An Inconvenient Truth, which won him an Oscar this year.

But, aware that he may step into the wide open race for the White House, former strategists are sounding out a shadow team that could run his campaign at short notice. In approaching former campaign staff, including political strategists and communications officials, they are making clear they are not acting on formal instructions from Mr Gore, 59, but have not been asked to stop.

His denials of interest in the presidency have been couched in terms of "no plans" or "no intention" - politically ambiguous language that does not rule out a run.

One of his former campaign team said: "I was asked whether I would be available towards the end of the year if I am needed. They know he has not ruled out running and if he decides to jump in, he will have to move very fast.

"He hasn't asked them to do this, but nor has he told them not to."

In an interview on Thursday, which touched on the prospects for next year's presidential election, Mr Clinton commented: "You've got the prospect that Vice-President Gore might run."

The most recent opinion polls show Mr Gore as third favourite to take the Democratic nomination, on about 17 per cent support, only a whisker behind Barack Obama, 45, who is aiming to become the first black US president, and ahead of John Edwards, 53, the senator whose wife was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Vice-President Gore's allies believe that Hillary Clinton, 59, the frontrunner, is unable to win the presidency. The most recent poll shows a growing number of voters think negatively of her, in contrast to Mr Gore, who enjoys far greater popularity than when he lost the 2000 presidential race despite polling more votes nationally than the eventual winner, George W Bush.

The second aide approached by Vice-President Gore's allies said: "There is no love lost between Gore and Hillary. They don't think she can win and they're probably right. If Gore runs, he's got a really good chance of getting the nomination. And he has a good chance of pulling off the election, too."

Gore-watchers believe that a new book he is publishing next month on the state of US politics will keep his name in the public eye. Many of his supporters helped to run the unsuccessful presidential campaign of John Kerry in 2004. But since Sen Kerry abandoned his presidential aspirations this year, many of his leading advisers have yet to align themselves with any of the other candidates.

They were expected to join the campaign of Sen Edwards, who was Sen Kerry's running mate last time.

The former aide, who has himself signed up with Sen Edwards, said: "The question is: where have all the Kerry people gone? The answer for most of them is nowhere. Now ask yourself why."

Among the senior officials not yet committed is Michael Whouley, who was national field director for the successful Clinton-Gore 1992 presidential campaign, national campaign manager for Mr Gore when he stood for re-election as vice-president in 1996, and then a senior adviser to Mr Gore in 2000.

Considered one of the most talented Democratic "ground war" experts, he masterminded John Kerry's political resurrection in the New Hampshire presidential primary three years ago, putting him on course for the nomination. Last year, he oversaw the Democratic victory in the mid-term elections.

Two months ago, a former Gore aide, Elaine Kamarck, convened a group of former aides in Boston to consider the possibilities of a Gore campaign.

James Carville, President Clinton's former strategy chief, suggested last week that Mr Gore, who has piled on the pounds, could shed weight over the summer to make himself more media-friendly for a White House run.

"I wouldn't be surprised if he lost 15lb or so," said Mr Carville. "And I think if people thought he could get us out of the mess we're in with Iraq, they wouldn't care how fat he is."

A poll of leading Democratic and Republican strategists found that one in four thought Mr Gore would emerge a strong contender. "He already has emerged - he just has to announce," a Democrat told the magazine Opinion Journal.

A Republican said: "Gore could be the toughest Democrat to beat."

At least eight websites are campaigning to "Draft Gore" into the election. More than 70,000 people have signed an online petition, and more than 120 groups of Gore supporters meet each month around the country to promote the case for a Gore presidency. One website offers the chance to download a song called Run Al, Run!
