lol, nobody cares what you think nor what you do. You're free to spend your time on exactly on what you value.

Here's another perspective, the metrics that you define as requirements for a mentor are also the same that a mentor uses to self-screen. It's similar to cops asking "Do you know why I stopped you?"

It's not fishing for admissions of guilt, it's an attitude check.

I imagine there are plenty of cons and scams among the educator's crowd. For me, even if a particular educator's courseware was less than satisfying, it always led to the next series of questions to ask to further my understanding of markets.

Continuing education is a requirement in this profession, at the least for peak performance.

Subscribing to a Signal service is distinct from subscribing to a service designed to promote understanding deeper context. This look into a particular trader's mind and perspective on unfolding PA, MS and OF is as valuable as the value you place on it.

    That is a m i g h t y generous use of the term parabolic.

Mind you, I mean Brooks. Not yourself.

In a sideways move 3 pushes up and 2 down or 3 down an two up makes the sideways motion functionally a triangle as the same pressures are present in both. So, it can be traded the same way as a triangle whether it looks like one or not. Like below.

The same price action could be drawn to look like a range as depicted below. However, before using range trading techniques one must see around 20 bars of sideways motion. Until then it is better to trade it as a triangle in breakout mode. And that BO can be north or south.

Brooks Price Action - Acronyms can be good departures for exploring the specific types of setups you are interested in. For example if a trader wants to have a thorough predefined list of criteria and classification lenses through which to view a collection of double tops and bottoms, just pull up big Al's Abbreviations and hit ctrl-F to get a 'find' tool and enter 'double' into the blank. Now just scroll through, read and apply the exhaustive permutations that Al has developed over time to gain further insight into the simple price action of the humble setup 'double top and bottom'. Cost? F r double e.

  6. I'd love to see someone code the logic that would be able to detect that wedge/triangle that was drawn.

If there is anyone who would like to see how I do - what I call a "Range Condition" - come into this Zoom Room.

This is based on a 7 Tick Range Bar that I use - and I can tell when the Range Starts - in 5 Bars. I then Draw what I call a "Range Box". I have Rules for Declaring a Range Condition - and Trading (Scalping) inside the Range Box. It is actually very simple.

It is NOT based on Triangles.

Need a Headset_Mic to talk - otherwise - this won't work for me.
