Without a good big picture view all trades will become scalping. That is why traders exit good trades too early.
One of his students, Ali Moin-Afshari, a former software engineer, has done just that. He built many systems based on Al's lessons and has a startup quant company.
People don't understand how the acronyms are used. They are not supposed to be used in messages or conversations except for a small number of them (like DT DB etc). Most of them are used to mark the charts by Al Brooks himself to save time and space. People can use the acronym table to look up their meanings when they study the marked-up charts.
For those of you who find Al's lessons were too many and too complicated to follow, there is a simplified versions which focus on only 4 setups. daytradinginsight.com. On $69 for life time access ($49 for existing brookstradingcourse members). Just FYI.
I have already told this to many. Traders won’t do the study, the work, the practice, and put the time in to learn how to trade PA. Most just want an instant, get rich, simple, plain as day, sure fire setup, that will have them “living their dreams”. So their dreams morph into nightmares. Instant grits traders:
Most people replying to this thread don't understand a lot of things concerning Al Brooks and his work.
Al Brooks is a trading teacher. That's all you need to know. He makes his living selling as many courses as he can, and the dream....of trading riches for the average, dumb, common, man. There should be an official world trading competition, And only...the Top 4 winners....are allowed to officially sell trading courses, while the rest are considered all fakes and failures. I can pretty much guarantee you....the Top 4 people....won't be trading teachers/coaches/gurus....because they Can't actually trade. All they do is constantly show past, hindsight, charts.
Your astonishing level of ignorance has been more than adequately demonstrated....really no need to continue. And by all means avoid an investigation of Al's work, a clue might short circuit your already questionable gray matter.
Why are you incessantly defending Al Brooks, Did you spend thousands on his courses? If so, I feel sorry for you. If Al Brooks made you a million bucks, I'll shut up forever about those clown trading educators. But until then, my stance is that they are all charlatans just out to enrich themselves by essentially conning the dumb, common, man out there. You Know I'm right -- it just eats you up inside to admit it,
