Al does stream live TradeStation charts. He draws lines, he shows the daily chart, the 60-min chart and other charts. He makes commentary on whether what is setting up is good or not. But he doesn't baby you and tell you when/where/how to get in and out. He wants you to be a big boy trader and think for yourself. I can hardly believe you guys can't understand this unless you guys are using magic indicators to trade? Maybe that is the problem? You know Austin, your room/course is listed here somewhere at ET as being a scam. I think you are on the top 10 list. I didn't see Al Brooks on the list. And how do you "explaining price action before it unfolds"? Do you mean like "Okay, traders... ES will go up 1.5 pts in exactly 5-min and then you go long and get out 2.25pts later because I have an 8-ball that tells me this in advance" Ain't gonna happen. Not in Al's room. I can tell that no one here posting is actually a price action trader. It's obvious. Maybe some here are jealous of Al? Maybe they couldn't write a book on price action if their life depended on it? Maybe they don't have over 3000 members on their site? Maybe they don't have 99 traders in their room?
All I can say about this is to talk to Al's lawyer who advised him on what he should do or not do in his room.
Obviously very few can make 1 point per day with a size of 100 or more. Obviously most room operators cannot trade 10 lots or more and prove it.
Obviously that includes you. It would be irrational for someone that wants to be a trader to be jealous of any educator-trader-pretender that cannot make 1 ES point per day or more, unless of course AustinP is jealous of Al's success as a room operator and website manager. It's also obvious that neither of them can trade to even pay the bills, and have to resort to other streams of income. Sometimes rather desperately, like a short trying to cover.
Not really, it is common knowledge. So Al is either having a crappy lawyer, or lying. Are his trades what he shows later posted somewhere???
I have no dog in the hunt with Al Brooks or anyone else. If he streams real-time charts, points out where price is likely to trade, points out where action zones are, points out where potential entries exist and why, explains trade management choices and why, explains exit decisions and why, it's all good. Isn't that pretty much the purpose of a live room effort? Sounds to me like he does that from what the other poster described above. So there you have it. As for seeking +1pt ES on 100 contracts, that's not something I find of interest at all. Truth is who can afford to even play around with that when you can accomplish much more with 10 contracts CL? +1pt ES trading is pretty much scalping. I personally cannot afford to dabble with that myself, there is waaay too much money available in other markets with less stressful tactics. But we're all different... to each their own
Obviously you cannot trade 10 CL contracts profitably nor 10 ES contracts profitably and prove it to your live room subscribers. Obviously you can run a live room and envy Al's more successful live room.
shak,if you watch time and sales at the turns, supp, res you will see a lot of 100 lot traders, you can also see em at nite(20's and 50's) on the volume spikes,i doubt they make many trades per day but they are out there, and ease up on austin, running a biz on the side doesn't automatically make you a snake oil salesman,a lot of these guys are ok,just like Al
