Do you find the material applicable to higher timeframes like the hourly/daily as well as spot forex?
I mostly trade spot forex. Yes, PA works the same way in any timeframe, I would say daily/weekly even better than intra-day (because of smaller noise component in analysis of high time-frames).
Cool thanks, I plan to use Daily for bias and hourly for entry, then check every hour, can't really day trade the 5 min from work.
Took just scalp (1:1 R/R) profit on the last trade, but profit, while classic TA would result in a loss or break-even in the best case.
Yes, higher time-frame trading is also far less stressful. Tend to play longer-term myself than used to.
As for the latest Euro PA on 5-min. Brooks analysis would even provide a reversal short for a profit, which could be way profitable by now, but I am not as talented scalper as NoD is and only take clear trades, which simply provide a better R/R entries into classic TA setups.
3 simple moving averages on trend trading bagged almost 150 pips in last two days.I still love the price action at entry and exit of the big trends. They covered trend pullbacks , bear flag, bull flag ,breakout entry etc, life is so complicated , ain't it for some.
This thread has degraded into ridiculousness. Are you the ultimate arbitrator of the difference between "Brooks PA" and "classic TA"? It's clear that most on this thread fail to understand that the point of price action is to read price.
