Al Brook's trading course

  1. Looks to me Linda Raschke is a profitable trader - as her own funds are audited and ranked by some banks fund rating agencies.

Now, which other education seller has all his/her trading audited?

  2. Everything this Al stands for is against the interests of traders succeeding.Keep trading simple not chaotic ....where discipline can not be applied or maintained.

Let us shove some trading courses up theirs and show them their weakness and failures.

The truth about the p/a on ff was stated by a few scammers and James 18 .

I really don't know. Pristine is a trading education company, not an individual trader, and I don't believe they run any funds; they're strictly education. So I imagine all you could do in that case is audit their strategies by testing them over reasonable time periods.

That's what I did with Brooks' stuff. I tested various strategies until I found the ones I liked because of positive expectancy and opportunity for positive R:R as well.

Nnot saying als books are easy to read but I think there is some good information! Basically what I liked about the books are the importance of every bar! Price action is what the professionals use but not easy! If you like the price action you check out priceactiontradingsytem.com

  7. Can anyone who's purchased Al's course provide a review?

  8. I purchased it a couple of weeks ago. To me, it is worth every cent. If I could buy all learning info in video format I would, my preferred way of learning.

I bought his first book, only got thru the first few chapters. I got his next book (1 of 3) I think it was the one on trends, again read a couple of chapters.

I got all of his video's on my Ipad, it's great. Anytime, anywhere. Now when I go pickup my son from basketball, I am always hoping practice runs longer.

There are more than 50 video's, basically he does a powerpoint about a topic and then shows charts.

If someone told me that they had to suspend trading because buying the videos would put their account below the minimum needed, then it's a no brainer absolutely buy the videos.

Because of my experience with his books I really wasn't sure what his style was, I knew he traded a 5 minute chart, support and resistance, names for various bars, H1, H2 etc... didn't know what the names meant.

Bottom line is this, if you don't believe the market has patterns, recurring setups, etc.. this is probably not for you.

If I could get $1000.00 for all my videos with the understanding I could never get them again, I would keep them. I look at it as a long term commitment.

I was never a die hard kool-aid AL Brooks drinker, I am now.

  10. Thanks for your thoughts Tonkadad. I've read through two of his new books and I am giving strong consideration to picking up the course.
