This is like becoming a pilot taught by somebody who saw flying on TV (e.g. Narcos) and think they know pretty well how it works.
Which reminds me what my uncle always said, "stop worrying about others and pay attention to your own shit".
Paraphrasing out of memory here but that is one of the more vivid memories of his style of writing. Yeah, my overall reply was perhaps more of a general comment and I quoted you solely because that's what made me think of it. Context, i.e. additional variables (if subtle) other than price, used to make a decision. Potentially as simple as having a long bias because "the market is going up" (based on whatever, and there was a study showing that most active retail trader profits are beta). I'm adding it as a caveat because saying that price is unimportant would be clearly incorrect.
My number one peev on this Forum is SML. Anyone who befriends him or encourages him I block. It's just a subconscious responce. The list grows lol. Apologies.
Hello hilmy83, He has me blocked too for whatever reason. Full Disclaimer : I am currently a Losing Trader so far of about -$7,200 on the fiscal year of 2023. Let's see how the next 2 months go. My comments are not worth a penny with a hole in it because I am losing trader right now.
Let me solve that mystery for you Apparently, he finds you, how would the youngsters say? "Annoying AF"
Hello Rams Fan, Lol. It's all good. I am not sure how I bother @Darc at all. I do not even know him. But its all good. I like all ET members. Yeah, thanks for that lol. I don't mind going toe to toe throwing insults with some barstool, but if myself and SML exchanged, it'd ruin every Thread. So blocking is in the interests of the Forum. The list of people Ive blocked due to encouraging SML is extensive. They'll probably show themselves shortly. Anyway, back on topic. You don't mind Al Brooks, what are your thoughts. I find it pretty good so far, but what do I know.
I wasn't aware of that. I do know that Roberts offered, as an additional backend product, an options "course" so those with smaller accounts could use the two methods he advised in his commodities course. But somehow, in his own personal trading he got into the habit of fishing for bottom in Silver as a call buyer. Not even waiting for a 1-2-3 reversal, or a trend entering method. In that regard he was just a macro gambler. I doubt that worked out for him. One reason he may have done that is he actually opened his own brokerage, so the more trading he could churn, through his example, the better.
Hehehe, I do that with the fx guys, if they're new members and start a new thread about fx I put 'em on block or ignore, many of them though are bots.
