I think there may be value in his books, but as a whole approach to trading, it's useless. I know @Visaria was taking his course and he planned on using the money-back-guarantee if he wasn't satisfied. Care to tell us how that turned out, @Visaria?
Course is well worth taking...i learnt a lot...all my comments on it are on my thread that i started.
Same here - very much so, even though I'd already been making a living quite a while before I saw it. (I found it far more approachable and understandable than his books, too.) Thanks for mentioning this - I hadn't seen it before. Will take a look, now.
It is important you learnt the right things or a lot.I can learn a lot of garbage on $100 dollar courses , and remain on forums or I can learn little but enough to be making a lot
I believe Al Brooks was a surgeon and this attention to detail comes out in his work. It will rub off on you. I have occasionally fallen asleep watching his videos but there is validity in what he is teaching. When watching a course this long and this detailed you know there is going to be at least one nugget of gold hidden somewhere in the course.
Yes , worth spending 1,000 hours to find needle in a haystack .Half information can be very safe. If we follow 10 books = 10,000 hours If we follow 20 education sellers = 20,000 hours
The course does focus on 5 min bars...but at the beginning, Brooks does say it is applicable to all bars, daily, weekly etc.
