Someone with right wing, or especially libertarian views get banned alot easier. There wasn't much of a choice to ban period boy. It would have made them look very, very bad not to do so. He looked out for his left wing commrade however and deleted the thread where gabbriella was getting destroyed... saved him some embarassment.

I enjoy debating them. I do not want to see anyone banned (who is not dangerous). For me this is fun. I do find myself being polarized... but I also learn stuff. I really did not know that some say FDR was commie lover, Lincoln was grubby power thirsty dictator who did not give a shit about slaves or that the neo cons were founded by former commie socialist like the Dad of William Kristol... before reading it here first. Oddly ET was far out in front on those issues and now the main stream media is catching on just like we sometimes see congressman now say the FED is a privately controlled institution. We never saw that until we hammered the point here on ET. So I say let the commie socialists speak.
Of course, that's what I said initially. I'd just preffer that the ones who speak are the ones who will have honest and thoughtful discourse. Not flame, avoid questions, refuse to address key issues, feign a lack of understanding so as to avoid solid points etc. The guy who was banned was one of those, and I applaud it. If a socialist/commie will actually debate issues, even though the waters will get rough and discussion will get heated from time to time, that can actually be productive. However, the zzzz's and ......'s and optional's don't serve this purpose or create an ideal enviroment whatsoever. They were all a waste of an orgasm and failures of evolution, the fewer of them the better. That applies to anyone who behaves that way regardless of where they lie on the political spectrum.
