The following was posted by anek in chat logs... do not have jpg saved to disk - http://i29.tinypic.com/25ey0b6.jpg hope it helps...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ YES and NO. have a 2nd look at the chart you posted somewhat later. NO offense - but there is more to the markets than just HH,LL etc. IMHO.
No offense taken nor intended... You are absolutely correct, there is more to markets than HH's and HL's. I did not state otherwise.... Your reference to my posts, however, are mixing apples with oranges... Post #1 addressed my interpretation of the fundamental principles of AHG. Post #2 was in reply to a request for a graphical example of the second wave or test of a pivot/ Trend line break...and was not related to nor intended to "support" my previous statement. AHG promotes price action, this is true. How else can one quantify any market? Price action is the tool, AHG is the philosophy... IMHO
Here is my chart from today. I was surprised at how much that UTL was obeyed. Lessons I learned from today: TL touches are great R:R if your lines are solid. Take your +8 instead of letting it fall to b/e. Wait until trading 2 cars to worry about getting a 'boat Have more confidence in myself.
Yes, That does help, thanks Here is another picture I found. Was/is there a chart that explains this? Thanks again!
Could someone please tell me what they think is a good way to figure the next days pivots or a way to figure pivots on a 133 tick and 233 tick es chart? Mine don't seem to be working on that time frame. After reading about 300 pages here in this forum I have learned that that price is king and that Anek says the pivots are one of his must haves so any nelp would be appreciated. Thanks, Majik
Define pivot. Classic pivot is high + low + close/3 gives you the pivot for the next day's pivot eg. 10+ 20+30 = 60/3= 20 You guys I think are talking about something else. http://www.tradingmarkets.com/.site/eminis/how_to/articles/-74949.cfm
Jack the screenshot you are referring to, was an excerpt from AH chat logs... referencing a "Pivot" study exercise... the initial premis of the study is located in my prelimanary notes http://www.4shared.com/account/file..._study_notes_hk-001.html?sId=a077qSEvs198dByD In the notes is a secondary link to a screenshot which attempts to depict one of the discussions... be advised that the notes are not complete and only indicate the quest and not the results... hwk
