  1. Jack, the sample you are referencing to is Topguns TETA money management / trade set-up... the pivots he references as pivot 1 and pivot 2 are not the pivots used to identify the trendline, but, an example of his entry point, stop placement for his "advanced technique"

imho, the reason he may have chosen (30) as his "1st" pivot may be due to his set-up requiring Trend confirmation prior to initiating a trade.... (30) being the first swing low to test/touch the established trendline....

In regards to trendline identification, (98.25) could be considered 1st pivot -- (5) 2nd pivot -- and (12.25) the 3rd pivot which confrims the trendline...

    hope this helps...

  2. Anekdoten,

    Congratulations for doing this !

How many people are there on average in the #AHG chatroom ?

Do you start from European trading hours ?

    einstein,
Try going to the Ninja Support forum searching under "importing Ninja Script" or something like that. There are some threads on how to troubleshoot errors when importing. It worked fine for me importing into NT 6.5 beta.

  7. Wow how fortunate I am to see this.

I just want to let anyone know who is having trouble staying in the trend and is looking at their PnL stats and seeing 1:1 r/w or bs numbers like that while going AHG, read this log.

I have been slowly widening my stops and aiming for big changes in trend, taking profits only on huge resistance/support on anchor and it is making a big difference for me!

Rather than decreasing my win rate, I am actually doing quite well this way. I think I actually am improving both r/w and win rate. The key for me is to identify the main trend on anchor... if you are going counter, then you obviously gotta take profits at logical areas where uptrend can restart.

If you are going with trend on anchor though, use large pivots on the entry chart and don't get out until it's broken.

Shep's comments and Anek's really solidified it in there for me. Thanks guys.

  8. Tried again on the support forum and no go. The problem is that I am using v6.0. When I tried going to 6.5 I couldnt import the marketemotion indicator which I use a lot. So unless someone figures out how I can import the ninjaprice indicator into v6.0 , I'll stick to what I have. Thanks for trying.

  9. You can try this version of marketmotion with Ninja 6.5, beta 9. I just did and it worked for me.

BTW, I didn't write this, it was something I downloaded earlier in the thread.

    Regards,
    Guy
