I think you raise an interesting point. My take on the matter is ALWAYS respect price. This means drawing trendlines from highs and lows that never cross through bars. A secondary comment to the above, I only draw lines I'm going to trade on.
I am recent arrival to the AHG group, having been alerted on the list in another paid-members only chatroom. So far, i had read the 1st 400 posts on the Thread, particularly ANEK's chart up to 8-08-07. I wish to post the attach chart to see from other struggling newbies whether I am on the right track. My target is to finish reading the entire thread over the 2 next weeks. My experience is in symmetry and fibwork, using hh, hl for uptrend. my thanx to Anek, Pisguy, Rv, and HWK
you need to send a PM to anek in order to have a voice on the channel....anek is trying to get rid of spammers...just sent one myself and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
YM, I enjoyed reading your chart, thank you. As far as the trendlines, its a preference. On time based charts, like the one you posted, I think ignoring the wicks is perfectly fine. Let's not forget trendlines are highly subjective. As far as time frames for incorporating AHG, any will do, but the smaller you go the more noise you will face. Your analysis was also on the money. Hope it helps. Anek
