In my disaster preparation/procedures, the #1 rule in risk management is to ALWAYS place protective stops at time of trade, Bracket orders when possible. You would be amazed the peace of mind it provides when the eventual system/equipment failure occurs and you know that your greatest potential loss is no greater than your normal trading "cost". The bracketed sell profit order can even pleasantly surprise you when you log back on to the platform... I learned my lesson in February, with a large mid-term position trade... that was my last order with a mental stop. I have slept well ever since... glad this one didn't bite you...
went to othernet. clicked on chat now. after java aplet uploads I get messages "unable to connect to servers". Any suggestions?
Quakenet is another irc server. It seems as though you didn't properly add the server irc.othernet.org. Make sure under connect->servers you have that. Try this instead: Open mIRC click continue click OK than in the box type "/server irc.othernet.org" than type "/join #AHG in the box" I have attached an image with what "box" I'm talking about.
This thread is mamoth ! It is interesting reading, but is there any part of this thread that delineates the most recent rules for trading the AHG ? Approximately what page on this thread ? Thanks in advance !
HWKaiser truly did a yeoman's job in summarizing Anek's method, along with listing all the various charts etc. Look for it on page 775.
Terrific work by hwkaiser, highly recommend it as a journal compendium to avoid reading what has become a bible in terms of size. Traffic has slowed down significantly here as we have slowly shifted to live chat in IRC. Anek
