AHG - Profitable Strategy for Struggling Traders

I have an IB account, and find their simulator to be quite good. Limit orders seem quite realistic - you don't always get in on the first bid/ask hitting your price...

I have tried to get in to #ahg. It says i'm in the room but nobody is there, so I must be doing something wrong. Is anyone else having trouble with this?
