I agree completely with what you said. Mostly because you know things are not absolute. If you noticed most of the criticism of what I had to say had a ring of fanaticism to it. I put a dose of the doom and gloom in my posts because that is my experience and if someone comes across it in the future there will be another view point to the hope, pray, wish, and appear crowd. If someone can come at this with there eyes opened to all it entails, persevere and succeed, then I'm a happy man. If people believe this is an easy, viable from the start, likely career path, then that is tragic. I don't think I need to post anything more. I don't want to blow the thread or piss off the people who are trying to help the desperate horde that follow the method here. Praying you all have good and productive lives. Taking the 1% winner I have left and exiting the building!

I respectfully disagree with this last statement !!! Screen time is an invaluable tool. The more hours you accumalate with productive screen time viewing the more probable your chances for success. I think any successful Trader will concur with this !!

Ha guys had a really GREAT Trading day today. I have been trading e mini YM full time for 9 months. Been implementing AHG last 4 months !! But guess how much money and how many trades I made today ?? A Big fat $0 made and Big fat 0 trades taken. No No its not a joke.. HEHEHEHE I spent 4 hours with my eyes glued to the Monitor but none of my criteria for my trade setup was met so I did not even place a trade. Usually average 3 to 4 trade setups a day. But unlike before in the past when I became itching to get in on a trade I would just impulsively enter . Always afraid I would miss out on making money. So I had to play !! Not this time though. YM too choppy !! I used discipline for the first time in this particular situation and it feels like a huge stepping stone in my overall growth as a trader to be able to do it. And just sit on my hands. Anyway , guys not trying to rub this in, but as of right now Im just sitting finishing off a pint of Sierra Nevada on the porch of my rented condo (for 6 months) in Palm Springs, Ca. , sunny 75 degrees, and overlooking the beautiful golf course here with the majestic San Jacinto mountains in the background. Its at La Quinta Embassy Suites. Part of Hilton. Unbelievable scene here. Just Spectacular. Honest to God ,I have never seen or been at a residence with this grand of a view. Incidentally, wifey and me just moved here last Saturday and YES I trade from this exact spot with my wireless Laptop. Gotta Luv the Trading Biz. Cheers

Discrat, Good job. Sometimes not making a trade can be the hardest thing to do. I am still working on that myself. You described the way I feel sometimes. I don't want to miss anything so I get in and lose. I too am working on self disipline. I made a couple trades today and ended with 1.5 pts. for the day, so slightly down with commissions. Enjoy that beer, you deserve it.
I'm lost too. I haven't figured it out either. I tried to follow the directions given yesterday but It didn't work.
