  1. Here's a question I have regarding which chart type (Vol or Tick):

Which one do you use? So far for the NQ I've seen

    1000V
    500V
    2500T
    610T
    233T
    89T

If you had to pick 2 to trade from (anchor and entry) which would it be? Tick charts seem to offer smoother charts (IMHO).

Just curious. It seems to be personal. Must be a like/dislike thing, psychologically.

  2. Since its AH I wanted it to play it safe and waited for the next bar to pop up to get a good feel while obtaining the same confirmation as before.

  3. Attached please find a couple of comments of NQ's afternoon session.

There was a particular move that stunned me a bit.

  6. Thanks, Adrian. And congratulations on a great trading day. Perhaps when you have time you could post a chart of a few of your trades. No rush.:)

  7. from the looks of it (closed at its low) seems you made a MKT order...

I'd imagine if you wanted to play it safe, you'd place a limit order about halfway up the last bar - the type of trading i need to do more of :)

  8. I,

The entry was limit, in AH this is like a golden rule you don't break.

    Anek,

Im glad you pointed out that M.

What was it that kept you from taking it? It looks like we got the close below and magic tick which would have validated a short trade. So why did you not take? Because it never broke TL?

  10. I did take it but when it rebounded off the TL I got stunned and took a while to recover and say, hey this is an uptrend what are you doing.

Was a very tricky move for me.

The correct play would had been to take most of it out at the TL support and leave a portion for the kill even though there was no kill to the downside. Only that program buying that took the NQ to the HOD.
