  1. was already green, only toggles if a weak bar appears

if you set seeall = true, you can see all the Strongs/Weaks

  2. I think he's highlighting where orders are "below bid" or "above ask." So far today I've seen 0 predictive power to these conditions, if anything there's been a negative correlation. I'll see a string of "above asks" followed by a brisk take-down. Or a hodge-podge of "above asks" with "below bids" mixed in. If there's a way to cherry pick the meaningful signals out there's gotta be some other filter to use, I'm in the dark there.

  3. You must watch the tape at critical points not just when a sporadic below bid or above ask shows up.

Tape reading takes a while, said this from the beginning, don't expect to "get" it in two trading days.

  4. Anek,

To a new trader learning to read the tape (times & sales), you would only recommend to start looking at "below bid" and "above ask" at critical points in the market like close to a trendline break, magic tick, patterns, etc. Is this about right?

    thanks

  8. Does IB have time and sales.?

I look time and sales on QT.

Sometimes both the boxes (bid/ask) are red, sometimes both are green , sometime one red and one green and sometime one white and other red/green

    There are no cumulative numbers.

Somebody who is familiar with QT time and sales ,please comment. Thanks
