  1. Austin, my poor boy, you burnt Anek in your post saying it is better
to pay for education than to spend a lot of time and read "tips"
amongst hundreds of pages. Do you want me to go back and
    find your post?

And thank your God you are closing up your website. It's about time.

P.S. You will always be known as a vendor who got his trading
capital off of poor, unsuspecting noob traders. So go kiss my @ss!...LOL...

This is my first attempt with this for QT paintbars and have not tried it real time yet.
    rule one translated
if (Bar Close > Bar High[1]) and ((Bar High >Bar High[2]) or (Bar High > Bar Close[2])) and ((Bar High > Bar High[3]) or ( Bar High > Bar Close[3])) set color to $FFFF80

    Rule two
if (Bar Close < Bar Low[1]) and ((Bar Low < Bar Low[2]) or (Bar Low < Bar Close[2])) and ((Bar Low < Bar Low[3]) or ( Bar Low < Bar Close[3])) set color to Yellow

    Hope it works

    Thanks for sharing everyone :)

The attached a picture is the above rules added to Aneks previous paintbar.

Yes, please go back and reread with comprehension this time. I clearly stated that anek is doing a very fine job. To some he will offer the pieces they seek. To others, more will be required. What's so hard about that to understand and accept?

Then go back and read my very first post in this entire thread. It was a response to PB's usual rant about everything must be free or else it's rubbish. I say there is valued information in many forms. Feel free to limit yourself any way you wish... it's a free world.

Anek, my apology for the sidetrack here. I made a mistake in replying to a sidenote post to begin with. It won't happen again, I promise.

    Piscuy ,
When you begin exiting a trade do you bring stops to break even on remaining contracts ?

  6. Osho, I am working on updated notes which are currently complete through 11/19. These notes also catalog anek's charts and most posted indicators.

I am attempting to incorporate everything Anek shared on his vacation and Piscuys contribution in a separate section as well. Prior to posting I would like to confirm accuracy.

I hope to be able to share the update with everyone soon... I thought I would be able to refine the document during Anek's vacation, but as you are aware, the man is a machine... he just never stops, (to our good fortune of course...) The virtue Anek possesses which he neglected to mention as a key ingredient in his winning formula... Dedication! He can teach us the mechanics but the drive and discipline must come from within... :)

PS: Anek, are we still in phase I or are you transitioning slowly to phase II?

  7. Thanks so much. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Phase 1 is quite advanced for some like me. I hope some automation is in phase 2 so we can all be at the beach while making money.LOL

  8. Don't thank me, it is Anek who is to be thanked... I am only trying to contribute my portion to Anek's "stone soup", my only regret is that I can not contribute more... hopefully in time we can all pay it forward with the same passion...

3 bar reversal as modified by iluv2trade for Amibroker

Same colors used in the pivot formula: blu candle signals up reversal, yellow candle signals down reverersal.

    Good stuff iluv2trade, thank you

maybe I'm going crazy , but taking a quick look at a few random charts, I think this stuff is tradeable as a mechanical system.

Now if someone can come up with an indicators that avoids chop periods, we can go and kick some serious ass in Wall street..lllool.

No seriously take a look at the sys and tell me I'm daydreaming.

  10. Hi all,

regarding tape reading I have two major problems.

I'm an IB customer and believe that the cummulated data is not really ideal.

The second one: I chart using Ninjatrader at the moment. But NT has a bigger problem to digest IB data and displays double ups.

    http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/vb/showthread.php?t=3648&highlight=time+sales

What do you guys think about these problems. Is a tick by tick data feed vital for this technique?

What would be the alternatives regarding broker, data or charting.

I have to say that I like the fee structure IB offers and have no real reason to complain so far.

    What about Tradestaion in general?

Anek do you use TS as a broker also?
