How do you get set up to trade after hours. Are there different margins?

 

Margin is higher yes but aside from lower volume and spreads, just lower chart size.

You can find your day trading and overnight buying power in the Balances tab of the Trade Manager for equities and electronic futures.

Makes sense, unusually the market went down while large contracts were bought above ask - more so than below bids... might have been some manipulation to shake out the weak hands... (on SPY)
