  1. Sounds great, I like to think I'm helping people.

    It's quite simple really, no nonsense approach, as many have stated in the past Disicpline is the key.

    It's precisely why I listed it as the absolute #1 in my journal.

    Simply put, you do not fu** with your rules (assuming they are sound) or you will pay the price.

    This is why many say trading is mostly a psychological game, because once you find out what must be done, the rest is the psychology mastering which could take a lifetime for many.

    Take Mark as an example, the dude clearly knows what must be done, but he keeps screwing up and he knows he is screwing up. Eventually he will have to defeat his demons, no way around it.

  5. Anek...I appreciate your focus with one contract, the NQ, becoming a "master of one"...what for you are the 1,2,3,4,5 etc. things about the NQ, that for you, sold you uniquely and specifically on the NQ?...great thread Anek...

  8. Please use this instead, disregard last post - those are the straight downloaded ones, not updated and validated.

    Looked into the HA one and it has a lot of options and a bug (fixed), TTM Trend is the standard HA.

    I coded the Anek PB's based on the posted one and according to the spec, never worked for me as posted - using if-thens instead of Criteria and grouped the 2 parts into 1 Paintbar eld - perhaps it means more cpu usage? no idea... but it works.

    please call me 'i', we're all friends here ! :)

  9. Gonna pull a Mark, reviewing my understanding, please correct if wrong!!

    As Anek has said before, higher chart frames give off less noise thus identifying more reliable patterns. but it's a balancing act:
    - small stops -> smaller TF
    - large winners -> higher TF's
    - reliable patterns/MS's -> higher TF's
    - exercising your edge (more than a coin flip of 1 - 2 trades a day) -> smaller TF

    Anek advises the use of both a fast and anchor (4x) charts to ideally strike the right balance. The anchor chart gives the signals, the 1/4 chart is used for entries and stops? (I think stops are based on your anchor chart signal bar, not 100 % clear on this). I'd appreciate it if someone could clarify this part :D
