I have absolutely no problem with HA bars. If you want I could make my paintbars a show me so you could use both at the same time. Anek
Real, however only one contract. I have been experimenting with 932 tick chart for my entries and exits. I have found it really good so far for me. If you take a look at that last run up, you can see how well it works. I was able to get 34 points just on that trade alone. I went long at 2004.25 and got out at 2038.25. What I have been doing is when in a trade going long I wait until the previous bars low penetrated by 1 pt. or 4 ticks (same thing). If the market dips and takes me out I will re-enter once strength comes back and previous bars high is taken out by one point. I have been doing really well with this. If you look at the big moves today on 932 tick chart you will see how well it works. I also make sure my trades are with the trend of course, Unless I see a double bottom or top

The HA bars are good for those that have problems letting the winners run. They are definitely not for entries as they can be a little slow. Which is why i suggested the combination. My stuff is much faster for entries, in fact there is nothing faster as far as I'm concerned. Price action is king, make no mistake about that. Part of a winning algorithm I use in auto trade is based on that. Here is a sample of how powerful this stuff can be. Anek
Anek, Power Dots? LOL! Love the name. Couldn't you have thought of something a bit "cooler"? Are those part of your auto trading or just another tool. Either way, they look cool. Kinda reminds me of those candy dots that use to be on paper.....don't ask me why, I don't know. B
