  1. Yep, we are only human.

I make conscious mistakes on a daily basis.

No big deal, as long as we are constantly looking for improvements.

  2. Good points, hadn't noticed the W - usually i see loads of them every day too! (Going to have to narrow my criteria for qualifying a W/M :)).

Hmm, it was also virtually a DT that turned into a triple top.

Even though there are better methods out there I did very good scalping with the CCI for some time. If I had to pick one of the canned indicators CCI is the one I would go with. Like anything you have to take the time and effort to learn to use it.

  5. trading is not a vocation, it's an addiction.

That was a quick turnaround... Trading with Mickey?

if you're serious, are you saying its more reliable than the strong bars?

EDIT: lol, just saw the death-to-cci... i think Anek has now officially started his vacation! Based on these recent posts he's enjoying it!

    Cheers,
    i

On your chart analysis page 643 you state," Anticipated M due to multiple confirmations."
Could you please explain. What factors do you take into considerations when anticipating W or M. I suppose I should be coming up with a list myself.

    Good trading

  9. Well first of all the trend was down.

Before that my W reversal long attempt had failed miserably and retraced quite abruptly, which is unlikely for a good W.

Means there are sellers on the look out.

On top of that a bearish engulfing formed at the second top and if you notice, the mid swing was not a higher low.

Last but not least big size market orders started flying on the tape quite rapidly and that just did it for me.

I use Time and Sales in NQ with a filter to show 50+ size orders only (used to be 75) and pay very close attention to the rhythm of market orders. Very powerful stuff, highly recommend it.

  10. Thanks Anek:D

I am gathering information on the formation of W and M. If I come up with a list I will post here too.

Thanks for giving so freely, although I follow spyder's journal, I enjoy reading this one too. I think I know you from somewhere under a different name. Your style is so familiar I simply can't pinpoint where I have seen similar work.:D
