28 wonder where the last 10 years has gone. college then sit in front of computer all day. Ten years ago if you had told me I traded index futures for a living I would not have known what you were talking about.

also, I am scared of turning 30, maybe I should get life insurance and write a will

Also, while on the subject of age I just found out how bad my health is for my age. Ten years ago I earned a football scholarship, now I am skinny and unhealthy (doc says it is because I usually do not eat until done trading for day) but after working out all my life to be in shape for football I no longer want to work out. Maybe they make a pill.

  3. I hear ya. 31 yrs old here. Used to be in college Taekwondo team and practiced Jujitsu quite a bit until I started trading then I didn't have time to do anything including eating. Have lost about 30 lbs since I started doing this full time.

Profitable and quite happy with my performance this year even if I'm short of my target but I've decided enough is enough. I'll do this part time next year or the year after, then look for a job or start a business of some sort.

  8. Hi kids,

I'm 62. I've been trading for 35 years using TA and TA
only. The never ending study that is possible with TA
has kept my mind alert and young. You might think that
I must be a real dunce to be still studying TA after 35
years. Maybe so. But those who, like me, 'eat this stuff up', surely
know that in addition to being fasinating in itself, TA is
a great tool to use in the declining years to keep the
cobwebs from forming upstairs. But I guess the same can
be said for any form of analysis that stimulates the mind.
So if you guys are still trading at 62, I'll still be around too,
buying what you're selling and selling what you're buying!!!

    Good trading to you,
    learner
